FAQ

How old are you, where are you from and what’s your story?

I’m 21. Young, to some. But, I’ve always lived older than my age. I currently reside in Australia. I don’t feel like I have a permanent home. I travel where I need to, on demand. I don’t like to be in one place for any extended period of time. You can read a little bit about my backstory here, on my about page and in various interviews contained on my press page.

What kind of camera do you use?

I shoot on a Nikon D610, and use both a Nikon 35 mm 1.4 lens and a 50 mm 1.4 lens.

How do you edit your photos?

I hand-edit all photos in Lightroom, sometimes I double edit with Photoshop too. I rarely use filters. Sometimes, curves.

Do you have a book?

No, not yet.

Can you cater or create a cake for my event?

In certain circumstances. I don’t cater for personal functions, like weddings or birthdays, unless I have a connection with the person. I will cater for creative events, like gatherings or workshops, on limited occasion. If you have a project that you believe I would be interested in, I would love to hear more about it via e-mail!

Where do you get your props from?

I collect props from all over the place. If it’s someone I frequently work with, I generally tag the designer on my Instagram. Part of the fun with blogging, is developing your own aesthetic and voice. Props form part of that. So, search for props that match your own personal style.

Can I have the recipe for something I saw on your Instagram?

If you see an image on Instagram that you want the recipe for, chances are that, it’s coming. Most of my work on Instagram are images taken of recipes that I’m developing, either for myself, for a client or for the blog. If the image is from a recipe on my blog, I always include the post title in the caption. If it’s a recipe from another blogger friend or author, I always make sure to credit or tag where I got the recipe from.

Can we send you our product in exchange for a review on your website or social media?

Sorry. I don’t do blog or social media posts in exchange for product. If you think it’s a product that I would love, feel free to e-mail me and we can work something out. I love being sent new cookbooks to play with! I generally only review or do a post on the blog, if, it’s a book I really love, or if it’s from an author I have a personal connection with.

We’re interested in working together. What are your rates and packages for sponsored posts on the blog and for social media?

To inquire about rates and package inclusions use the contact form here. Please include details about the scope of the project, the timeline, the budget of the project along with any other relevant details and I’ll get back to you.

Can we see past examples of sponsored work and stats?

For all sponsored post enquiries, make sure to e-mail first, with the terms of the project (as above), and I’ll e-mail you back with my media kit, if desired.

Can I use your photo and/or recipe?

I ask that you don’t republish an original recipe from the blog in its entirety without prior consent. If you adapt or alter an original recipe for your own blog, please do so with appropriate accreditation. For images, I ask that you only use 1-2 photos from a post and link back to the blog post with credit. Anything else, please ask for prior permission. If you’re a business wanting to purchase an image, or if you’re interested in publishing my work, please contact me for availability, rights and rates.

Do you do freelance photography, writing and recipe development?

Yes. My photography portfolio is currently under development. I do freelance writing, I love it. Please e-mail here for past examples of my work or refer to my press page. I do recipe development for most clients. Please contact me for further information.

Can I interview you?

I love interviews. For all media, press or publication enquiries, please use the contact form here, and title the subject line accordingly. For all other interview requests, please submit an email here and give a brief statement around the scope of the interview and where it will be published.

If I haven’t answered your question, or, if you just want to reach out, please feel free to e-mail me!
